Syuta’s activity for art work is not only creating something as an artist but also performing art project and organizing shows as an art director to connect between human relationships and social network via art working. On the other hand, he is working in the pharmaceutical industry for developing new drugs. He uses the management knowledge and skills cultivated in this industry for art management. His early studies of biochemistry, life sciences and my career as a pharmacist are direct influences of my art works. The theme of his work is based on the gene or the phenomenon of life both micro and macro level point of view. The idea is a bridge to the development of human relationships and a contribution to the societies exhibiting as an installation. Sometime he conducts workshops with children, the elderly and/or those with special needs and creating small pieces to install with their workings.
And also, he is a director of Art Lab Akiba where is an art space run by artists. The organization has conducted art project and exchange program shows with other countries. Recently he has been in charge of supervisor for Musashino Art Brut exhibition which has been managed by local government in west side of Tokyo since 2017.
