In 2012 the Artist Residency was born in Naples where foreign artists are hosted for a long period of time, not less than a month, during which they have the opportunity to enter deeper in the history and secular culture of the territory, and to relate with the artists of Campania for an exchange of technical and artistic experiences aimed at growing and developing their personal culture.

During the time of their residency artists are invited to relate to other cultural institutions through workshops and conferences; they are given the opportunity to deepen their historical knowledge of the area through visits to museums, as well as visits to local artist’s studios in order to develop cultural exchange and different artistic experiences through dialogue.

They are invited to produce works inspired by the territory. At the end of the residency, the works produced are exhibited at ART1307’s studio-gallery.
